Lakerville to Harris Farms in California

Grade 3-placed stakes winner Lakerville has been retired from racing and will stand at Harris Farms in Coalinga, Calif., for a private fee.

The 6-year-old son of Unusual Heat won five of 11 starts during his on-track career, finishing worse than second only twice, for earnings of $318,910. He won the Clocker’s Corner Stakes in January, and later finished second in the Grade 3 San Simeon Stakes.

Barry Abrams trained Lakerville and co-owned the horse with Madeline Auerbach.

Bred in California by Abrams and Team Green, Lakerville is the first foal out of the unplaced Out of Place mare Foreverinthegame, whose only other starter is Grade 2 winner Gervinho. He is from the family of Panamanian champion Sanky Panky, Grade 2 winner Memorette, and graded-placed stakes winners Paradise Found, Parkway Drive and Fondre.
