Lady's Island the one to catch in Ana T. Stakes

Winning is a way of life for Lady’s Island.
She boasts a career record of 16 wins from 30 starts and will attempt to add to her credentials Saturday at Gulfstream Park in the $60,000 Ana T.
The six-furlong race for fillies and mares is one of two overnight stakes on the card. The $60,000 Mecke for 3-year-olds and up at a mile on turf drew an overflow field of 14.
Lady’s Island figures to go favored over eight others after winning 3 of 4 starts so far in 2020. Those victories include the $50,000 Minaret in February at Tampa Bay Downs and the $100,000 Musical Romance in her last start May 16 at Gulfstream.
Last year, Lady’s Island went 8 for 9, among her wins the Grade 3 Sugar Swirl at this six-furlong distance at Gulfstream. She used her good speed to wire the field and looks like the one to catch in the Ana T.
