Lady Gamer upsets 2-5 Getback Time

INGLEWOOD, Calif.- Lady Gamer ($17) won her stakes debut in Sunday's $76,450 Valkyr Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares at Hollywood Park.

Leading throughout under jockey David Flores, Lady Gamer, 4, ran six furlongs in 1:09.86, finishing 2 1/4 lengths in front of Getback Time, the 2-5 favorite. Lady Gamer set fractions of 22.40 and 45.35 seconds and was not threatened after quickly reaching the front on the backstretch.

Vaca City Flyer finished third in the field of five.
