Carencro, La - Kylers Midge stalked pacesetter Light Fling then drew clear of that one through the stretch to win Saturday night's Tellike Handicap by two and a half lengths. Light Fling held the place comfortably and was followed by Power of Dreams. 5-2 favorite Sea Bloom, fractious prior to loading into the gate, staged a steady retreat to finish seventh and last in the field of fillies and mares.

Ridden by Mario Reyes, Kylers Midge ($11.40) covered six furlongs in 1:11.20 over a fast strip. She is owned by James Hutzel, trained by David Baker and was the starting highweight at 119 pounds.
