KTA/KTOB announces elected officers and directors

The Kentucky Thoroughbred Association and Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association have elected officers and members of its board of directors for upcoming terms.

The officers of KTA/KTOB serve one-year terms and are elected by members of the joint organization’s board of directors. Members of the board of directors serve three-year terms and are elected by the full membership of the organization.

Following are the KTA/KTOB officers elected for a 2014/2015 term.
President: Garrett O'Rourke – Manager, Juddmonte Farm
Vice-President, KTA: Pope McLean, Jr. – Director, Crestwood Farm
Vice-President, KTOB: John J. Greely, IV – Owner, Wintergreen Stallions
Treasurer: R. Eric "Ric" Waldman – Bloodstock Consultant
Assistant Treasurer: Jackie Smith – Financial Controller, Juddmonte Farm
Secretary: Braxton Lynch – Owner, Royal Oak Farm

The following members were elected to three-year-terms on the KTA/KTOB Board of Directors.
Chris Baker – COO, Three Chimneys Farm
James Baker – Thoroughbred Trainer
Walker Hancock – President, Claiborne Farm
Stephen Lyster – Thoroughbred Trainer
