Kostas named general manager of DRF

Daily Racing Form has named Jim Kostas as senior vice president and general manager. Kostas will be responsible for the day-to-day business of all DRF horse-racing products.

"Jim has been instrumental in the organic growth of our business as well as the seamless integration of our recently acquired properties," said Brent Diamond, the Racing Form's president and CEO. "We're extremely pleased to have Jim overseeing our core racing businesses in this dynamic time for both DRF and our industry."

Kostas, 40, is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, the University of Arizona's Race Track Industry Program, and Texas Tech, where he earned a degree as a Master of Business Administration in 1993. He joined the Racing Form in 1994 in the circulation and operations department and was named vice president of circulation in 2000.
