Kissin Kris moving to Canada

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Grade 1-winning millionaire Kissin Kris, who stood at Tommy Town Thoroughbreds in California this year, will move to Esquirol Farm in Canada for 2008.

Esquirol owner Pierre Esquirol purchased the 17-year-old Kris S. horse privately and will stand him for $3,000 (Canadian) in 2008.

Esquirol declined to reveal the price he paid for Kissin Kris in the private deal.

Kissin Kris is the sire of such 2007 stakes winners as Delightful Kiss and Another Kris, as well as the stakes-placed Mean Kisser. He also is the sire of 2000 Canadian champion 3-year-old Kiss a Native and graded winners Cellars Shiraz, Hasty Kris, and Smoocher, among others.

Kissin Kris was due to arrive at Esquirol in Ryley, Alberta, Canada, Tuesday afternoon.
