Kiss and Tell became a stakes winner Monday, when she stalked the pace and went on to a 1 1/2-length victory over favorite Lady Zephyr in the $75,000 Blue Ribbon at Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Okla. It was another two lengths back in third to Rainbow Angel.  The six-furlong race for 3-year-old fillies bred in Oklahoma was a new stakes offering at the meet. It also served as the first stakes race of the new season. Kiss and Tell ($10) was content to stalk in fourth behind pacesetters Lady Zephyr and Rainbow Angel, who raced together through fractions of 22.18 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.50 for the half-mile. Join DRF Bets. Alex Birzer was aboard for trainer Alan Williams. Terry Westemeir bred and owns Kiss and Tell, who is a daughter of Den’s Legacy. She came into the Blue Ribbon off a third-place finish in the Oklahoma Classics Lassie in October at Remington Park. Miss Code West, the winner of the Lassie, was voted horse of the meet for Remington. Miss Code West is set to run Saturday at Sam Houston in the $100,000 Texas Thoroughbred Association Oaks.
