Kipling leaving Crestwood Farm for Mighty Acres in Oklahoma

Glenye Cain Oakford|Oct 29, 2012

Kipling, who sired 2007 Breeders’ Cup Mile winner Kip Deville, will relocate from Crestwood Farm in Kentucky to Oklahoma for 2013 in a deal brokered by Schumer Bloodstock.

Kipling will stand at Mighty Acres, a division of Center Hills Farm, in Pryor, Okla. He started his career at Mighty Acres but left the state after Kip Deville’s Breeders’ Cup victory. Kipling’s 2013 fee has yet to be announced; he stood in 2012 for an advertised fee of $5,000.

The 16-year-old Gulch stallion is a full brother to Court Vision. In addition to Kip Deville, he also has sired multiple stakes winners Dreamsandvisions and Taylor Madison, stakes winner Lord Kipling, and 2011 Oklahoma Stallion Stakes winner Gotagogotagogotago.
