Army Mule was unbeaten in three starts, highlighted by a win in the Grade 1 Carter. His early progeny have found some success at distances beyond a mile, and on a variety of surfaces, which bodes well for the Canadian classics. Army Mule is the sire of Grade 3 turf winner Danse Macabre and turf stakes winner Broadway Girls; synthetic stakes winners Captain Courtney and Navy Goat; and dirt stakes winners Hot Little Thing, Klassy Bridgette, One in Vermillion, and Recruiter. The female half of Stanley House’s pedigree is geared toward speed on dirt. The colt is the first foal out of Stormy’s Song, who posted her only win in her debut sprinting on Belmont Park’s main track. Her granddam is multiple Grade 1-winning sprinter Lady Tak, who went on to produce three stakes winners, including Melody Lady, the dam of Grade 1-winning sprinter Volatile. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
