Abel Tasman, by Quality Road
Last 3 Beyers: 76-105-100
- Her Beyer Speed Figure of 105 in the Personal Ensign is the highest career figure for any entrant.
- Rallied from 10th to win last year's Kentucky Oaks, but has been forwardly placed in both Grade 1 victories this year.
- "I don't mind her post," Baffert says of drawing toward the inside. "I didn't want her to be way on the outside and lose a lot of ground."

Monomoy Girl, by Tapizar
Last 3 Beyers: 101-98-98
- Just a neck away from being unbeaten in three starts at her home base Churchill Downs, all in stakes.
- Both she and Midnight Bisou ran career-best 101 Beyers last time out.
- Keeping focus in the lane will be key for this morning-line favorite.
- Looking to become third filly to win the Kentucky Oaks and Distaff in the same year, joining Ashado (2004) and Untapable (2014). Led by Ashado and Untapable, 10 3-year-olds have won the Distaff, also including Sacahuista (1987), Dance Smartly (1991), Hollywood Wildcat (1993), Ajina (1997), Spain (2000), Unbridled Elaine (2001), Royal Delta (2011), and Beholder (2013).
Midnight Bisou, by Midnight Lute
Last 3 Beyers: 101-90-94
- Never worse than third. Made her first six starts for trainer Bill Spawr, then was transferred to Steve Asmussen following the Kentucky Oaks.
- Gets a new rider, as John Velazquez picks up the mount from Mike Smith, who remains with Abel Tasman.
- Won the Santa Ysabel on a wet-fast track, boding well for her should the track retain moisture Saturday.
Blue Prize, by Pure Prize
Last 3 Beyers: 94-96-94
- Her four graded stakes victories in the U.S. - three at Churchill - have come with four different riders. Joe Bravo, aboard for her breakthrough Grade 1 score, retains the mount this time.
Vale Dori, by Asiatic Boy
Last 3 Beyers: 93-72-86
- Keeping focus and breaking well is key for her, Bob Baffert says: "She gets in the gate and she gets to dancing a little bit. . . . “If she breaks in the clear, she'll be very competitive, but she's got to be out there on the lead."
- She is three-for-three on wet tracks, and would welcome moisture in the ground on Saturday.
Wow Cat, by Lookin At Lucky
Last 3 Beyers: 94-90-89
- Won all eight starts in her native Chile, from 6 1/2 furlongs to about 1 3/8 miles, by a combined 47 3/4 lengths.
- Sire Lookin At Lucky, who is having a career year, also is the sire of morning-line favorite Accelerate in the Classic.
Wonder Gadot
Last 3 Beyers: 84-78-92
- Busiest member of field with 10 starts on seven tracks this year; her only unplaced effort came in the Travers.
- Appears to have good energy despite that busy campaign, firing a bullet work last week and continuing to be a handful to gallop.
- Versatile filly is a Grade 2 winner and multiple Grade 1 placed on dirt, including her runner-up effort in the Oaks; a Grade 3 winner on synthetic; and a Grade 1-placed stakes winner on turf.
Champagne Problems
Last 3 Beyers: 92-96-95
- She is an optional-claiming winner at Churchill Downs this year, and was beaten a nose by Blue Prize in the Locust Grove.
- Raised a chuckle at the post position draw when she landed the rail slot under Calvin Borel, who is famous for navigating an inside course.
