Kenny Peck provides his analysis, selections and suggested ticket structure for Saturday's Pick 6 at Saratoga.  RACE 6: Not sure how wise it would be to lop off horses in this opening leg without the benefit of seeing the board, as six of the ten entered here are firsters and they are all from barns capable of winning first time out. The four runners with experience all ran well enough in their debuts to suggest any of them is capable of winning this, and for the purposes of this ticket I’ll use them all equally, though players employing the “A-B-C” method will be able to weight them according to preference. RACE 7: HOMBRE (#4) was an impressive maiden winner in his second career start, and while he was just off the pace after a slight bump after the break he could well be the controlling speed in this seemingly paceless turf route; has a big shot to steal this if he is in fact allowed to shake loose from the start. RACE 8: Another race where it’s very difficult to exclude runners, as even likely longshots GOOD TALK (#4) (from a barn winning at 32% with stretch-outs) and MIDNIGHT CHOIR (#5) (adds blinkers and Lasix, both strong angles for trainer Jonathan Thomas) are not at all out of the realm of possibility. I’ll use them all equally on this ticket and hope for one of those two, or another price horse, but the “A-B-C” method is preferred. Build your ticket with DRF Bets TicketMaker here. RACE 9: ZAINALARAB (#7) was 2nd when last seen but she ran a very nice race in defeat, as she was not only shuffled back after the start but she also lacked room for much of the running, then rallying nicely to get the place. She may well have been best there with a clean trip, as she galloped out past the winner after the wire, and given the fact that Australasia returned to score again in the Jersey Girl Stakes (with a 92 Beyer) that’s saying a lot. Further, her early speed could give her an edge as there’s not all that much pace in this field. RACE 10: ROBIN SPARKLES (#2) and JAKARTA (#6) are the two main speeds in this field, and this Grade 3 Caress is otherwise short on early zip. The former draws inside and is easy to like as she seeks her sixth win in seven starts on the turf but the latter is capable if she can break cleanly and make the lead, as a stumbling start cost her in that last try. RACE 11: MY LIPS ARE SEALED (#7) not only has some of the best figures in the field but she also has good early speed, and in a race that’s light on same that should give her an edge on the stone closers. She should be on or near the lead here, and since she has shown that she has the ability to lead or rate she should be able to adapt either way. THE PLAY: ALL / 4 / ALL / 7 / 2, 6 / 7 = $180 Ticket
