Kenny Peck provides his analysis, selections and suggested ticket structure for Saturday's Pick 6 at Saratoga.  RACE 6: SILKY BLUE (#4) and SARATOGA LOVE (#9) appear to be the main speeds in a turf sprint that’s relatively light on pace; if the fractions are controlled that would give those frontrunners the edge. If this race is taken off the grass Main Track Only entrant Betsy Blue would have an advantage on this field and could be considered a single, depending on what runners remained in the field. RACE 7: Pick 6 players would be wise to consult Daily Double will-pays for races six and seven to try to get a line on which runners are taking money in this firster-laden field. For now, MY PRANKSTER (#2) and BELLINGER (#5) debut for trainer Todd Pletcher, and that makes them both contenders by default. SKATE TO HEAVEN (#4) has decent works for trainer Robertino Diodoro, who is currently clicking at 22% with first-time starters. SEAL BEACH (#6) could be best of the three with racing experience. RESERVE CURRENCY (#8) is a Chad Brown firster sporting a solid recent work, as that breeze on Saturday seems to be the best of his tab. COGBURN (#9) has a couple of recent bullets showing for trainer Steve Asmussen. RACE 8: RESTORING HOPE (#1) gets back to seven furlongs and this may be his best distance. IDENTITY POLITICS (#4) goes turf-to-dirt and he certainly seems to prefer this surface; needs pace but given decent fractions up front he can make an impact late. STRIKING SPEED (#7) comes off a dull try against allowance runners in his first start off the layoff but he has license to improve at this reduced level. RACE 9: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS (#2) benefited from a perfect trip in that Lake George win last time out but given her tactical speed and inside post she figures to be well spotted from the start once again in this Lake Placid, which is light on pace. She could in fact find herself on the lead here, and if the pace is moderate, as expected, she’ll be tough to reel in. RACE 10: CLAIRIERE (#3) was behind both Maracuja and Malathaat in the Coaching Club American Oaks but she may be able to turn the tables in the Alabama. The extra distance should work to her advantage and she has lots of room to improve off that CCA effort, as she was forced to move prematurely behind that controlled pace and she weakened late. I also want to use ARMY WIFE (#7), who wasn’t that far off Malathaat in the Gazelle three back despite some trouble; comes off a pair of sharp wins out of town for trainer Mike Maker yet she could be overlooked some in the wagering. RACE 11: GAUFF (#1) debuts for trainer Brad Cox and she sports a couple of works that indicate she has some speed. GOOD TALK (#2) has speed and an inside post, and in a race lacking a clear-cut pace scenario that could be an edge for her. SPLIT THEN DOUBLE (#4) has hit the board in each of her last three, which is both a positive and a negative, but she is tough to leave out given the ascending Beyer pattern. INGRESS (#6) has room to improve in her second career start for trainer Bill Mott. THE PLAY: 4, 9 / 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 / 1, 4, 7 / 2 / 3, 7 / 1, 2, 4, 6 = $288 Ticket
