Kenny Peck provides his analysis, selections and suggested ticket structure for Saturday's Pick 6 at Belmont. RACE 6: Not easy to get a line on this Maiden Special Weight sprint for 2-year-old fillies on the turf, by definition a wide-open race. Without the benefit of seeing the board it’s best to wrap it up for the purposes of this “caveman” ticket and use them all, and hope for something wild. RACE 7: HILLIARD (#5) was overmatched in his latest, which was also his first start off the claim by trainer Mike Maker, but he’s a strong fit with this starter allowance field. ALBIE (#7) has steady figures and he’s been running well in defeat of late; should be running late. RACE 8: JACK CHRISTOPHER (#3) was well-touted before his career debut but he somehow outran his advance billing, as that was a very strong effort. He pressed the pace from the start and drew off smartly, running away through the lane and opening up in impressive fashion. The resulting Beyer clearly makes him a big threat in the Champagne, which drew a fairly short field that’s not overrun with pace. Build your ticket with DRF Bets TicketMaker here. RACE 9: ARREST ME RED (#3) merits respect based on that win in his 2021 debut, which, not coincidentally, was his first start for Wesley Ward, who is of course sensational with turf sprinters. THERAPIST (#5) turns back in distance but he has won sprinting in the past, and he may be the one to fear in the lane. PULSATE (#7) has the tactical speed to stay close from the start and he should be well spotted just off the leaders from the start. BELGRANO (#8) seems like a new horse of late, winning his last two at Monmouth with relative ease.  RACE 10: MAXFIELD (#2) was no threat behind Knicks Go in the Whitney but he certainly ran well for the place there, as he was at a tactical disadvantage with the winner controlling the pace from the start. CODE OF HONOR (#5) impressed with that win in the Iselin, and though this Woodward field is clearly deeper he may be good enough to win this if he can move forward off that try in only his second start of the year. RACE 11: SANDOR CLEGANE (#9) has proven speed and his first and only try on the turf wasn’t bad at all. HOT DOCTOR (#11) is the one to beat based on the figures he’s posted on the turf, with his grass sprint Beyers some of the best of his short career. THE PLAY: ALL / 5, 7 / 3 / 3, 5, 7, 8 / 2, 5 / 9, 11 = $288 Ticket
