RACE 5: Will look to take an immediate shot in the sequence in this Hill Prince Stakes against likely heavy favorite Integration, who will be bet based on a flow-aided figure in his latest back in September. EQUITIZE ran to strong backing in his March debut, and while the layoff is a concern he has been training steadily toward this return for trainer Chad Brown. CLASSIC CATCH makes his turf debut for trainer Todd Pletcher and comes off a pair of strong efforts on the main track, improved tries with blinkers removed. He is dangerous if he handles this surface. (2) RACE 6: CYBER NINJA had little chance to make up enough ground to win either of those last two races due to some slow fractions up front, but he seems likely to get a better setup here as there is at least a little early zip in this field. The shorter distance isn’t necessarily a negative. (1) RACE 7: TRICKY TEMPER cuts back in distance and moves back to the main track, and this may well be her best game. She is one of the main threats in this Key Cents Stakes as she has tactical speed but also can rate and make a late run. ALLEY’S SONG drove clear in the late stages of her bow and should be well positioned to make an impact in the lane in this one as well as there does appear to be ample speed to set her up. UNICORN CAKE caught wet tracks in her two starts at Finger Lakes, and her debut Beyer gives her strong credibility in this sprint. RACE 8: POSITIVE CARRY is easy to like in this maiden-special turf route after running a decent race in the Selima Stakes at Laurel in her latest. The good effort for the place in her debut also obviously adds to the appeal. CELTIC ELEGANCE debuts for trainer Kenny McPeek and comes into this with a steady string of works, including a few breezes that suggest she has some speed. SAVE US MELANIA was off the board in her first career start, but that was due to a tough trip as she was caught up in a race-long pace duel. SPENDALOT is a threat by default in her career bow, due to her connections, even if she could be overbet for the same reason. PAST TENSE was rained off the grass in her first career start. Her dam won her own career debut on the turf. (5) RACE 9: THIN WHITE DUKE was very impressive in that win in the Harvey Pack Stakes in her last appearance on the grass, overcoming a mild pace in a race lacking early zip yet getting up in time in deep stretch. He figures to be rolling late in this Turf Sprint Championship as there’s ample speed in this lineup and he can run them all down late given a clean trip. ALOGON was nicely set up in the Wolf Hill Stakes on the Haskell undercard at Monmouth, but he was up against slow fractions in his return try at Parx Racing before running a strong race on the turf two back. He was a game winner in his only other try at this distance on the grass, on this same course. (2) RACE 10: PROUD FOOT makes her first start off the claim for trainer Richard Dutrow Jr., and while her last couple were subpar, she has back figures that put her in the mix with these if she can run to them. BELLA PRINCIPESSA didn’t run to her best Beyers in her first start off the layoff, but she clearly has lots of room to improve with that race under her belt. She should be rolling late in her return to dirt. MY GIRL JAL is another closer who should be well-positioned to take advantage of a quick, contested pace up front.
