Keeneland pick six not hit

Several long-priced winners Wednesday led the pick six to carry over for the sixth straight day at Keeneland, with the jackpot standing at $260,209 entering the Thursday card.

The pick six seemed destined to carry over almost as soon as it started on Wednesday: Foxy Bertie, who at 25-1 was the longest shot in a field of eight, won the fourth race, the first race of the pick six.

Subsequent winners were Fire Slam ($16.20), Gulch Approval ($5.40), Dick's Chick ($42.20), Where's the Ring ($15.60), and Barometric ($5.60). The winning numbers were 3-1-7-5-4-4. The consolation payoff for 5 of 6 winners was $7,563.40 for the $2-minimum bet.
