Keeneland to offer Turf Pick 3 at fall meet

A new pick three with a $3 minimum and a 15 percent takeout will debut at the Keeneland fall meet that starts next Friday (Oct. 8).

The Keeneland Turf Pick 3 will link the last three turf races every day. The races will not be run consecutively so as to separate the new wager from rolling pick threes.

Purse levels at the 17-day meet will hit an all-time high – just as they have at the other four Thoroughbred tracks in Kentucky this year with historical horse racing machines boosting revenues. Including bonuses for registered Kentucky-breds, maiden specials will be worth as much as $84,000 and allowances will start at $86,000.
