Keeneland November: Another Tapit weanling fetches seven figures

The weanling market continued in strong fashion Tuesday at the Keeneland November breeding stock sale, as a Tapit filly sold for $1.3 million to J.J. Crupi's New Castle Farm, as agent.

The filly took over the lead in the weanling category from another Tapit filly sold for $1.1 million earlier in the day. The new offering was consigned by Eaton Sales, as agent.

Out of the Grade 2-placed Unaccounted For mare Refugee, the filly is a half-sister to millionaire Hoppertunity, winner of last year's Grade 1 Clark Handicap; and to Executiveprivilege, who was a multiple Grade 1 winner as a juvenile. Refugee's second dam is champion Davona Dale.
