Keeneland: Musical Romance in post 2 for Vinery Madison

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Musical Romance, the Eclipse Award-winning filly-mare of 2011, was assigned post 2 in a field of 10 fillies and mares set to run Thursday in the Grade 1, $300,000 Vinery Madison at seven furlongs. Juan Leyva has the mount for trainer Bill Kaplan.

From the rail, this is the Madison field: Home Sweet Aspen, Musical Romance, Whipsaw City, Sugarinthemorning, La Reine Lionne, Whisked Away, She's Cheeky, Groupie Doll, Ariana D, and Future Generation.

The Madison is the first of four Grade 1 races here this week, followed by the Maker's 46 Mile on Friday and the Blue Grass and Jenny Wiley on Saturday.
