Keeneland maiden winner Littlestitious romps in My Trusty Cat Stakes at Delta Downs

Littlestitious became a stakes winner in her first attempt Tuesday, when she drew out to a 10 1/4-length win over Color of Dawn in the $100,000 My Trusty Cat. It was another length and a quarter back in third to Xtrema.
The My Trusty Cat was a seven-furlong race for 2-year-old fillies. It was run around two turns.
Littlestitious ($8.80) sat just off the pace set by Color of Dawn, who took the field through an opening quarter in 23.39 seconds and a half-mile in 48.47. Littlestitious moved to the fore through six furlongs in 1:14.27 and increased her advantage to the wire while covering the distance on a fast track in 1:27.35.
Diego Saenz was aboard for trainer Tom Amoss.

With the win, Saenz completed a sweep of the 2-year-old stakes offerings this week at Delta, as he captured the $100,000 Jean Lafitte aboard Privet Moon on Monday.
Joel Politi owns Littlestitous, a daughter of Ghostzapper who was coming off a maiden special weight win over six furlongs at Keeneland. Littlestitious was making her two-turn debut Tuesday. She is now 2 for 5 and the first-place check of $60,000 pushed her earnings to $129,346.
