Keeneland: Four new members named to Advisory Board of Directors
Keeneland Association, the not-for-profit racing and sales company in Lexington, Ky., has named four new members to its Advisory Board of Directors, including two representatives of international racing and breeding operations.
The new members include Aisling Duignan, the bloodstock director for Coolmore America, a division of the Irish company that stands stallions in major breeding markets around the world; and Garrett O’Rourke, the general manager of Juddmonte Farm, the globe-spanning Thoroughbred operation owned by Khalid Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.

The other new members are Gatewood Bell, a bloodstock agent with Cromwell Bloodstock with deep family ties to Keeneland’s operations; and Sarah S. Reeves, an attorney at Stoll Keenon Ogden, a law firm that has had a long tenure representing Keeneland in legal matters.
Two of the seats on the board became available following the recent retirements of Nick Nicholson, a former president of Keeneland, and J. David Smith, an attorney at Stoll Keenon Ogden. Another became open when Keeneland named the secretary of the board, Shannon Arvin, as its president-elect. Arvin, also an attorney at Stoll Keenon Ogden, will take over as president at the start of the year.
Keeneland’s board serves in an advisory capacity to management of the company.
