Spot PlaySHE’LL GET EVEN Looks like she’ll stay the 9fs, & w turf performances combined with pedigree suggest Poly debut could be all right – though that’s always a guessing game. Like work pattern since Sept. 20 CD race she might’ve ‘needed.’-Marcus Hersh Closer Looks >> |

Spot PlayLady Susan (#11, 9-2) – won second off the claim for a sharp trainer in Jeff Barkley, taking a $12,500 claimer on the grass at Kentucky Downs; past efforts suggest this one should transfer her form to Polytrack; well spotted in a starter $5,000 race. – Byron King Closer Looks >> |

Spot PlayBOLD SHOT (#10, 10-1) hasn't gotten the best of pace scenarios in his two turf tries to date but he still ran well, and he posted respectable Beyers; may be able to make the last run given an improved race flow. -Kenny Peck Vulnerable FavoriteGRAND GIANT (3-1) A beaten favorite in each of his last two, this colt does have come of the best figures in here. But he's also had 13 chances, he's a "bounce" candidate in his second start off the layoff and he'll need to work out a trip from the hedge; top-shelf barn adds to his appeal but also detracts from his value.-Kenny Peck Closer Looks >> |
