Justalittlesmoke draws off in Cleveland Kindergarten

Justalittlesmoke was kept just off the quick early pace by jockey Jeffrey Skerrett until upper stretch, where she rallied and drew off to a six-length victory in the $50,000 Cleveland Kindergarten at ThistleDown on Saturday.

Trained by Bob Gorham, Justalittlesmoke was the lone filly in the field of 11 Ohio-bred 2-year-olds. Unbridled Graduate finished second, and first-time starter Alliseeisgold was third.

Justalittlesmoke ran the six furlongs over a fast track in 1.11.48 and returned $36.60 to win.
