Just Might, DQ'd from Kenner, considered for Al Quoz

Just Might took a tough disqualification Saturday in the Duncan Kenner Stakes, but might have grander goals than $100,000 races in New Orleans.
Michelle Lovell, who trains, co-owns, and co-bred Just Might said Monday that Just Might has been nominated to the $1.5 million Al Quoz Sprint on the March 26 Dubai World Cup undercard. She expects Just Might to receive an invitation to run from the Dubai Racing Club and is seriously considering accepting it.
The Al Quoz is a straight-course turf sprint over 1,200 meters, about six furlongs, and was won in 2021 by American-based Extravagant Kid.

Just Might, a 6-year-old Justin Phillip gelding, won seven stakes races during 2021 and appeared to have started his 2022 campaign with an easy win in the Duncan Kenner. Fair Grounds stewards, however, disqualified Just Might to last for causing interference on the backstretch and runner-up Cowan was elevated to first.
