Just Got Out wins her way out of Friday allowance race

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – Due to the quarantine on her Belmont Park barn, trainer Linda Rice has had to scratch several horses in the last two weeks.
On Friday, she will have to scratch Just Got Out from the second-level allowance feature at Aqueduct, but for a good reason. Just Got Out is no longer eligible for that condition after recording a neck victory in Sunday’s $100,000 Ladies Handicap at Aqueduct.
Just Got Out, a 7-year-old daughter of Harlington, went gate to wire and held off a late run from Girl Talk to get the victory, her 10th from 41 career starts. Just Got Out was permitted to run in the Ladies because she is based at Aqueduct.
Just Got Out ran 1 1/8 miles in 1:55.32 and earned a 71 Beyer Speed Figure.
Rice doesn’t know what’s next for Just Got Out, she just knows it won’t be on Friday.
