Joyce resigns as Turf Paradise GM

Eugene Joyce has resigned as general manager and president of Turf Paradise, citing “personal reasons.”

Joyce, 51, was hired to replace the outgoing general manager Randy Fozzard at the Phoenix track in the summer of 2005. Joyce had previously been assistant general manager at Lone Star Park. Prior to that he had worked in the front offices of Wyoming Downs, Sunray Park, Arlington and Remington Park.

“I will be exploring new options in the near future and I look forward to the opportunities ahead,” said Joyce in a release.
