Trained by Michael McCarthy, Journalism was briefly out of training earlier this month because of illness. McCarthy said last weekend that he hopes to start Journalism in the Grade 2 San Felipe Stakes, a $300,000 race for 3-year-olds at 1 1/16 miles on March 1.
The San Felipe is a prep race for the Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby on April 5.
