Jockey Floyd Wethey Jr. won the final five races on Friday night’s card at Remington Park, including both $50,000 divisions of the Oklahoma Stallion Stakes with favorites Flat Hanby and Miss Code West.

The seven-furlong races for 3-year-olds highlighted the nine-race program.

Flat Hanby ($3.80) won his fifth straight race – and third consecutive stakes – after stalking fractions of 22.31 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.39 for the half-mile and going on to a 6 1/4-length victory over Judge McBee. The winner covered the distance on a fast track in 1:23.61.

Boyd Caster trains Flat Hanby, who is a son of Flat Out, for JT Stables.

Flat Hanby’s streak began in April with a maiden special weight win over six furlongs at Will Rogers Downs. He took an allowance sprint at the track one start later before stretching out to two turns and winning the Canterbury Park Derby and the Iowa Stallion Stakes at Prairie Meadows.

Miss Code West ($2.10) was the horse of the meet last season at Remington, where she won all four of her starts, including stakes at both one and two turns. She was moving back to dirt on Friday and tracked fractions of 22.95 seconds for the opening quarter and 46.26 for the half-mile before going on to win by 5 1/4 lengths over Xyngin Spitfire. The winner covered the distance in 1:23.66.

Miss Code West is a daughter of Code West who races for Jeffry and Julie Puryear. She is trained by Kevin Scholl.

Wethey, a longtime staple in Oklahoma, won the fifth through ninth races Friday.
