Jockey Club Round Table will be an in-person event on Aug. 14
The Jockey Club Round Table Conference on Matters Pertaining to Racing will be held as an in-person event for the first time since 2019 this year, the organization announced on Monday.
The Round Table, which frequently sets the stage for national policy discussions on The Jockey Club’s priorities, has been held as a virtual event since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in the spring of 2020. The Jockey Club will continue to offer a livestream broadcast of the event, as it had for several years preceding the pandemic, the organization said.

This year’s Round Table, scheduled for Aug. 14, will be the first to be held at the Saratoga Springs City Center, rather than a ballroom at the Gideon Putnam Hotel, as it has been for decades.
A lineup of speakers and topics for this year’s event has not yet been announced. In a release, The Jockey Club said that the agenda will be announced “in advance of the conference.”
