Jockey Club denies stub book privileges to Janine and Warren Winslow
The Jockey Club will deny stud book privileges beginning next year to Janine and Warren Winslow, two Texas-based owners and trainers.
In a statement, the Jockey Club said the decision was made for “knowingly misrepresenting and/or aiding in the misrepresentation of information in connection with communications to The Jockey Club on multiple separate occasions.” The Jockey Club does not elaborate on reasons for denying stud-book privileges.
As a trainer, Janine Winslow has started 200 horses since 2010, with 10 wins and $229,887 in earnings. As an owner, Janine Winslow has four wins from 49 starts since 2010, though no starts since mid-2018, while Warren Winslow has three wins as an owner from 54 starts from 2010 to June of this year.
A denial of stud-book privileges prohibits individuals from registering foals or using other services of The Jockey Club.
