Jockey banned two years for electrical device

An Ontario Quarter Horse jockey has been suspended for two years by the province’s racing commission after the panel concluded that the rider had apparently been in possession of an electrical device in the starting gate at Ajax Downs in May.

The jockey, Jesse Daigrepont, has been active at his trade for 23 years.
