You’resothrilling provided her accomplished family with another thrilling moment as her daughter Joan of Arc won the French Oaks on Sunday, becoming the brilliant broodmare’s third European classic winner. Group 2 winner You’resothrilling, by Storm Cat, is a full sister to the late European Horse of the Year Giant’s Causeway, a perennial leading sire for the international Coolmore group. You’resothrilling has joined that stellar production record, with seven winners from as many starters while being exclusively bred to Coolmore’s Galileo. She is the dam of Gleneagles, who counted the English and Irish 2000 Guineas among his five Group 1 victories; Irish 1000 Guineas winner Marvellous; and now, French Oaks winner Joan of Arc. You’resothrilling is also the dam of Group 1 winner Happily, who was third in the Irish 1000 Guineas; Group 2 winner Taj Mahal; and Group 3 winner Coolmore. Both Coolmore and Taj Mahal were also Grade 1-placed in the U.S. You’resothrilling’s next foal in the pipeline is the unraced juvenile filly Toy.
