Jls Dashn and Zoomn brings best qualifying time into LQHBA Breeders' Futurity

Jls Dashn and Zoomn will be out to back up his stunning trial win when he runs Saturday night in the $1 million LQHBA Breeders’ Futurity at Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, La. He was the fastest qualifier among 117 horses vying for the 10 spots in the finale, with his 400-yard time of 19.50 seconds threatening the track record of 19.41 put up by Jls Mr Bigtime when he won the Breeders’ Futurity in 2010.

The renewal Saturday is a restricted Grade 1 race for 2-year-olds bred in Louisiana. It is also the richest offering of the meet. There is a $40,000 consolation stakes on the undercard, while an additional stakes, the $25,000 Mojo’s, also supports the Breeders’ Futurity.
