ARCADIA, Calif. - The $2 pick six paid $44,401 at Santa Anita on Friday, but since there were multiple winning tickets sold the carryover provision in the single ticket jackpot pool has swelled to $85,520 for Saturday. The bet began with a carryover of $76,755 in the main pool and $35,366 in the single ticket jackpot pool from Monday. Bettors added $438,106 in new money Friday. The winners of Friday’s pick six races were Cuddle Alert ($17.80), Bar Scene ($3.60), Diamondinthecenter ($12), Time for Ebby ($6.20), Silent Bird ($3.60), and Derby Music ($13.60).  Bar Scene, Time for Ebby, and Silent Bird were favored. Consolation tickets with five winners Friday paid $172. The track is offering a single ticket provision to the pick six for the first time at the winter-spring meeting. With the addition of the single ticket provision at the winter-spring meeting, 70 percent of the net pool is dedicated to tickets with six winners, or into a carryover; 15 percent is paid to consolation tickets; and 15 percent is paid to a single ticketholder, or into a carryover pool until there is a single winning ticket, or a mandatory payout day.
