Ivan Fallunovalot works for Remington comeback

Ivan Fallunovalot, a multiple stakes-winning sprinter who captured the Grade 3 De Francis Memorial Dash last November at Laurel, had his first work since March on Sunday at Lone Star Park. He went three-eighths under jockey Rita Helton in 33.80 seconds, the fastest of 27 works at the distance.
Trainer Tom Howard said Ivan Fallunovalot came out of the quick move in good order and is on schedule to make his comeback in the $150,000 David M. Vance on Sept. 24 at Remington Park. The horse is a three-time winner of the Vance. Ivan Fallunovalot last raced March 11, finishing second to Whitmore in the Hot Springs Stakes at Oaklawn.
Ivan Fallunovalot had been sidelined by a soft-tissue injury. He is an earner of more than $800,000 and races for Arkansas resident Lewis Matthews Jr.
Bling On the Music is another stakes winner who is targeting the Remington meet.
The filly Bling On the Music, who defeated males by 13 lengths in last year’s $100,000 Gold Rush Futurity at Arapahoe Park, could make her first start since last fall midway through the Remington Park season, trainer Allen Milligan said. Remington opens Aug. 25 and runs into December.
“She’s been training at the farm,” Milligan said. “They say she’s doing real good.”
Milligan said Bling On the Music is set to arrive at Remington around Aug. 15. She last raced in October. Bling On the Music, who won a division of the Texas Thoroughbred Futurity in 2016 at Lone Star and also ran third in last fall’s Grade 3 Pocahontas at Churchill Downs, is owned by Keene Thoroughbreds.
