Its Just Fate, Prompted earn ITOBA Stallion Season Stakes victories

Its Just Fate won his second stakes race of the Indiana Grand meet Saturday night when he wired the field in a $75,000 division of the ITOBA Stallion Season Stakes. A second $75,000 division for fillies was won by Prompted.
The ITOBA Stallion Season Stakes races were both at a mile and were restricted to the 3-year-old offspring of eligible stallions.
Its Just Fate ($3) controlled the pace, setting fractions of 26.44 seconds for the opening quarter, 50.50 for the half-mile, and 1:14.94 for six furlongs before completing the distance on a fast track in 1:39.17. Rodney Prescott was aboard for trainer Wayne Mogge.
Garrison K finished second, 5 1/2 lengths behind the winner.
Its Just Fate came into the race off a win in the $104,000 Sagamore Sired Stakes on May 23 at Indiana. He is by the Sky Mesa stallion Skylord and races for Patrick and Donald Donahoe.
Prompted ($35) was a wire-to-wire winner of her division, setting fractions of 24.88, 49.29, and 1:14.02 before going on to cover the distance in 1:39.62. Letsbegreatagain finished 4 1/4 lengths back in second, while it was another three-quarters of a length back to third-place finisher Shyla.
Samuel Bermudez was aboard Prompted for trainer Randy Klopp, who co-owns the filly with Kenneth Meyer. Prompted is by the Awesome Again stallion Sangaree.
