Iowa fall mixed catalog now online

The catalog for the 2015 Iowa Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association fall all age Thoroughbred sale is now available online, with 76 horses on offer.

The one-day sale will be held Sunday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. Central at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa. Horses may be viewed Oct. 17 from 1-4 p.m. and on Oct. 18 starting at 10 a.m.

This year’s renewal features 59 yearlings, nine juveniles, a 3-year-old, four broodmares, and two weanlings.

Stallions Formidable and Get Story are represented by their first yearlings in the ITBOA catalog. The vast majority of the sale’s yearlings were bred in Iowa, with a few outliers bred in Minnesota and Nebraska.
