Invader from Keeneland at Louisiana Downs

Wings of Joy invades from Keeneland for Saturday's ninth race at Louisiana Downs. The first-level allowance is for fillies and mares at about a mile on turf and it carries an optional claiming price of $17,500.

Wings of Joy will be getting back on turf, the surface of her three wins, after finishing fourth in a $25,000 claiming race on Polytrack on April 11. That race's winner, Sweet Mis Kitty, came back one start later to win a first-level allowance at Indiana Downs.

As for Wings of Joy, she is returning to a course over which she is 3 for 4. Richard Eramia has the mount for trainer Al Stall Jr.

Icy Kitten, who is 3 for 3 over the local turf, is also part of the 10-horse field.
