A layoff of more than three months may revive the fortunes of Magnajet, a 4-year-old Southern Hemisphere colt who starts in a five-furlong handicap at Sale Racecourse in Australia on Sunday.
Australian cup races at smaller venues have become common in the 2020 campaign of At Witz End, the 5-year-old Southern Hemisphere gelding. On Friday, At Witz End will start in the Murwillumbah Cup at 7 3/4 furlongs in his debut at Murwillumbah Racecourse, located south of Gold Coast in northern New South Wales.

Korcho is a slight favorite in Sunday’s Taree Cup over 1 1/4 miles at Taree Racecourse. The distance is a good fit for the 5-year-old.
Campanelle will be out to give trainer Wesley Ward his third win in the Prix Morny on Sunday at Deauville, but the going could play against the American invader.
Love knows no bounds. Not this European racing season, at least, and certainly not Wednesday at York Racecourse in England, where Love, with little more than taps from jockey Ryan Moore, won the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks by five lengths.
The competition was too sharp for Hypersonic in a six-furlong handicap Aug. 1 at Moonee Valley Racecourse in Australia. For his fourth start at Bendigo Racecourse on Friday, Hypersonic faces an easier field and will race without blinkers for the first time. Hypersonic is expected to take his customary position near the front in a handicap at 5 1/2 furlongs, a distance that may be a better fit.
