Indiana fall sale catalog now online

The catalog for the 2017 Indiana Thoroughbred Owner and Breeders Association fall Thoroughbred sale is now available online, featuring 61 entries.

The auction will take place Sunday, Oct. 15, at Indiana Grand Casino and Racetrack in Shelbyville, Ind., beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern.

This year’s catalog features 48 yearlings, four juveniles, four racing-age offerings, four broodmares, prospects, or racing/broodmare prospects, and a weanling.

The buyer and seller of the auction’s highest-priced horse will each receive $1,000 in Indiana Grand Casino Cash, and each consignor and registered bidder is entered in a drawing for $500 in Casino Cash at the conclusion of the sale. The winner must be present at the time of drawing to win the $500 prize. Additionally, a drawing will be held for a $500 credit toward the 2018 ITOBA stallion season auction.

Stallions whose first crops of yearlings are represented in the catalog include Atreides, Flashback, and Strong Mandate. Indiana resident Animal Style also has a weanling from his first crop entered in the sale.
