Indiana fall mixed sale catalog now online

The catalog for the 2015 Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders’ Association fall mixed sale is now available online, with 61 horses on offer.

The single-day sale will take place Sunday, Oct. 25 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Ind., beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern.

Included in the catalog are 30 yearlings, 17 juveniles, both raced and unraced, 10 offered as horses of racing age or racing/broodmare prospects, two broodmares, a weanling, and a stallion.

The stallion cataloged in the sale is Lunarpal, a multiple Grade 3-winning son of Successful Appeal, who stood the 2015 breeding season at Mapleton Thoroughbred Farms in Polk, Ohio. The half brother to Grade 3 winner and young stallion Astrology is the sire of runners including stakes winners I Dare U Em and Full Rigged, as well as stakes-placed Moon Larry, Jias Pal, Lunar Fest, Hackberry, Secret Pal, Pocketknife, and Lunar Cap.

Stallions whose first crops of yearlings are represented by entries in the catalog include Get Stormy, Noble’s Promise, Quite a Handful, Sangaree, Strait of Mewsina,
