The multiple stakes winner Inagoodway cuts back from two turns to one Monday for the $55,000 Miranda Diane at Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Okla. The six-furlong race is restricted to fillies and mares bred in Oklahoma. Inagoodway last sprinted in August 2016 at Remington Park, finishing third in a maiden race run over seven furlongs. She’s gone on to win three stakes, all around two turns: the More Than Even two times at Will Rogers and the Oklahoma Classics Night Distaff at Remington Park. Inagoodway is part of a seven-horse field that includes fellow stakes winners Master’s Bouquet and Fiddlers Tsunami. Miranda Diane (Race 9) KEY CONTENDERS Inagoodway, by Save Big Money Last 3 Beyers: 69-45-79 ◗ She’s a nine-time winner, and all of those victories have come around two turns, including five at Will Rogers. ◗ The Miranda Diane is an opportunity for Inagoodway to return to the Oklahoma-bred ranks after running second in a starter allowance against open company April 3 at Will Rogers. She set the pace to the late stages of that race, and sometimes horses who show speed routing are effective on the cutback to sprints. The race also was Inagoodway’s first out since October, and she can move forward Monday. ◗ David Cabrera has the mount from post 2 for trainer Mark Buehrer. Fiddlers Tsunami, by Seeking a Home Last 3 Beyers: 62-57-58 ◗ She was the horse of the meet last season at Will Rogers, winning the $55,000 Great Lady M. Stakes and finishing second in both the Miranda Diane and More Than Even. ◗ Fiddlers Tsunami returned to Will Rogers earlier this month and won an overnight handicap over 5 1/2 furlongs. She was prominent throughout and could prove to be the one to catch on Monday, with perhaps her main pace rival Jackson Hill, a full sister to multiple stakes winner Three Chords. ◗ Bryan McNeil has the mount from post 4 for trainer Jody Pruitt. Natalie’s Mischief, by Into Mischief Last 3 Beyers: 64-78-75 ◗ She’s back with Oklahoma-breds after a fifth-place finish in an optional $80,000 claiming sprint Feb. 10 at Fair Grounds. ◗ She is looking for her first stakes win after running second or third in three of her stakes appearances. Her dam, Miss Natalie, was a stakes winner at Will Rogers. ◗ Luis Quinonez has the mount for Gar Oil Corp. and trainer Joe Offolter.
