Coady Photography Immortal Eyes will return to Charles Town for Wednesday's $30,000 Winter Handicap at 4 1/2 furlongs.
In the sixth race on Sunday's card at Laurel Park, the 10-year-old Immortal Eyes will make his second start since being returned to Damon Dilodovico’s care.
Immortal Eyes, a winner of 19 of 55 starts and $1.1 million, has made 37 of his starts for Dilodovico. Immortal Eyes was transferred to David Jacobson last spring and made four starts for him before being purchased by the Five Hellions Farm of Ned Williams, who returned him to the Mid-Atlantic, where he is a fan favorite.
Although Immortal Eyes is entered for the $25,000 claiming tag in the optional-claiming race, it is difficult to envision anyone claiming him because of his age. Dilodovico has said that Immortal Eyes will be retired when he shows he no longer wishes to race.
