I'm a Chatterbox's trip to Texas back on schedule

I’m a Chatterbox will be able to make the $400,000 Houston Ladies Classic after all.
The Grade 1-winning mare had been pointed for the Jan. 29 race at Sam Houston since returning from a short break following her fifth-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff, but when Fair Grounds was hit by an equine herpesvirus (EHV-1) outbreak in late December, which led to a state quarantine of the track, it seemed unlikely that she would be able to make the race.
I’m a Chatterbox, for lack of an alternative, was entered in Saturday’s Marie Krantz Stakes on turf but will be scratched from that race.
The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry this week announced that its quarantine of the Fair Grounds backstretch would be lifted Saturday, barring any further EHV-1 cases. Trainer Larry Jones said Friday he had been informed by Sam Houston officials that I’m a Chatterbox would be permitted to race in Texas unless there is a change in the EHV-1 situation at Fair Grounds.
