Rescind the Trade came out of his last-place finish in the Whirlaway Stakes with a foot problem, according to trainer Rick Violette, but the 3-year-old returned to the work tab earlier in the week. On Wednesday, Rescind the Trade breezed four furlongs in 49.88 seconds over Belmont&rsquo;s training track.\r\nRescind the Trade won his first two starts in New York before shipping to south Florida, where he didn&rsquo;t appear to acclimate well to the warmer weather. He returned to New York for the Whirlaway, where he set the pace before fading. He was beaten 10 3/4 lengths by Toby&rsquo;s Corner.\r\nKENTUCKY DERBY NEWS: Track all the 3-year-olds on the Triple Crown trail\r\n&ldquo;He came out of it with a bit of a foot issue,&rsquo;&rsquo; Violette said. &ldquo;The track was awful; he ran spotty and I certainly didn&rsquo;t think he loved the racetrack.&rsquo;&rsquo;\r\nViolette said he thinks Rescind the Trade might prefer to make one run from well off the pace and is looking to run him in another two-turn stakes to try and find out. Violette said all races are an option, including the Illinois Derby, Sunland Park Derby, and the Rebel at Oaklawn.\r\n&ldquo;I got to get through the next breeze,&rsquo;&rsquo; Violette said.\r\nViolette said he may consider the Spiral or Illinois Derby for The Fed Eased, who finished fifth behind Stay Thirsty in the Grade 3 Gotham on March 5.
