I Believe in Magic's speed an asset in Friday allowance

I Believe in Magic has the look of a Florida-bred with a future, and on Friday the 3-year-old filly could get an ideal stalking trip in the co-featured seventh race at Gulfstream Park.
The first-level allowance is for fillies and mares bred in Florida, and it also carries a claiming option of $20,000. It will be run at one mile and 70 yards on the Tapeta.
The eighth race is another first-level allowance for Florida-breds, but for 3-year-olds and up at a mile on the main track. The field of seven includes the 3-year-old The Skipper Too.
The purse for each allowance feature Friday is $43,000.

I Believe in Magic could go favored over the mare Tiz Enough in the seventh race, which drew a field of eight. Also set to start is Nana Fanny, a winner on the Tapeta in May.
I Believe in Magic has tactical speed and has used the asset to run first or second in three of her four starts. She won her debut in February at Gulfstream Park in a maiden special weight over seven furlongs. I Believe in Magic moved to two turns for her first start against winners and was beaten less than a length when second in a first-level allowance on the Tapeta, also at Gulfstream.
Her other Tapeta start came last out, when she ran second at this level and distance July 8. I Believe in Magic, favored in what was her first start against older rivals, stalked the pace and rallied. The third-place finisher from the race, Lady Jae, returned in her next start to win a $25,000 claiming race on turf at Del Mar, with a Beyer Speed Figure of 82.
I Believe in Magic earned a Beyer of 74, one point below the best last-race number in the field on Friday, a 75 earned by Tiz Enough. Tiz Enough earned the Beyer when closing for second against $20,000 conditioned claiming rivals July 23 at Gulfstream. I Believe in Magic could get an ideal stalking trip off a few rivals tucked to her inside. Miguel Vasquez has the mount from post 7 for trainer Ronnie Spatz.
Edwin Gonzalez has the mount on Tiz Enough from post 4. The mare is a half-sister to Tiz Possible, a stakes winner of more than $335,000. Vernon Allinson owns and trains Tiz Enough, who is making her third start off a layoff Friday.
The Skipper Too spent some of his spring at Oaklawn, where he ran second in a first-level allowance won by eventual graded stakes winner We the People. In her last two starts, The Skipper Too ran third in one-turn mile races at Gulfstream in May and July. Edgard Zayas has the mount from post 2 for trainer Juan Alvarado.
