Hungarian Princess scored a popular victory Wednesday at Indiana Grand in the $75,000 Swifty Sired Stakes for Indiana-sired 3-year-old fillies. Hungarian Princess ($2.20) won by nearly three lengths over Pearl Tiara, clocking 1:04.56 for 5 1/2 furlongs on a fast track.
Kim Hammond trains Hungarian Princess, a homebred daughter of Pataky Kid out of Help the Children, by Stormy Atlantic, for Swifty Farms.
Sky Judge ($11.20) won the $75,000 Sagamore Sired Stakes by more than seven lengths, clocking 1:04.82 over the same trip. Orlando Mojica rode the winner for trainer Merrill Roberts and Indy’s Dancer Training Center, the listed owner. Sky Judge is by Sahara Sky out of Wrenice, by Uncle Abbie.
