Hollywood Park's Saturday, July 13, race card features a pick six, and DRF's Michael Hammersly has you covered with his A's, B's, and C's, which you can use to build his ticket (or your own) in DRF's FREE TicketMaker tool. The sequence begins with Race 5 at 6:04 p.m. Eastern and includes the featured American Oaks. Good luck!

Race 5 (Maiden Claimer)

BRANDON’S PRINCESS (AE) flashed speed and talent vs. more expensive and today’s big drop may be key. GLAD’S GALS (#10) hasn’t run since a smart debut here exactly a year ago but has worked well. HELLO STORMY (#5) added blinkers and showed more speed and improvement. She’s worked smartly twice since.

Horses to use: 13 (A), 10 (B), 5 (C), 11 (C)

Race 6 (Allowance)

FANTASTIC MIZZ (#1) has been freshened since dueling and fizzling here May 23. She can surely do better and a bullet work July 3 says she’s ready to show it. DINVAR DIVA (#5) is the one to beat off 2 fine outings since coming from England.

Horses to use: 1 (A), 5 (A)

Race 7 (Maiden Claimer)

APACHE AMBUSH (#9) is working like he has ability (bullet :59 here July 4) and is ready to fire first time out. MYFUNDSARELO (#3) boasts some solid works for Dollase who has superb debut-win numbers (35%). PUBLIC INTEREST (#8) took considerable action (4-1) in his debut at SA Jan. 24 but refused to break. He has a bunch of gate works, strong ones at that, and drops for this return.

Horses to use: 3 (A), 9 (A), 8 (B)

Race 8 (A Gleam Handicap)

Brutally tough race. RENEESGOTZIP (#1) is working like she’s ready to fire big off the bench and is 3 for 3 here. TEDDY’S PROMISE (#5) is among the elite sprinting distaffers and her 3rd last time was smart considering she had trouble and was chasing a Grade 1-winning stablemate Include Me Out. RUMOR (#6) didn’t care for the slop at CD May 4. She’s been freshened and returns her backyard. BYRAMA (#2) has blossomed since moving to synthetic and a July 6 bullet says she holds her edge. BOOK REVIEW (#7) is 4 for 5 at this trip including a Grade 1 win and must be respected. She’s worked superbly for her first run since Feb. 16.

Horses to use: 1 (A), 5 (A), 2 (B), 6 (B), 7 (B)

Race 9 (American Oaks)

SCARLET STRIKE (#5) comes off 2 strong 2nds going shorter on this course. Today’s longer trip should be right in her wheelhouse.

Horses to use: 5 (A), 3 (B)

Race 10 (Maiden Claimer)

HARLAN’S TRICK (#10) dropped in for $30K June 16 and fared much better. This further drop may do the trick. LUNA’S LIGHT (#12) brings a full, solid worktab into her debut for Spawr who can fire first out (29%) and is having a superb meet (8 for first 31, 26%).

Horses to use: 10 (A), 12 (B), 4 (C)
