Here's my rundown for the $500,000 Guaranteed All-Graded Stakes Pick 4 at Belmont Park on Saturday, Oct. 1:

Race 7: Vosburgh

After running out of racetrack at odds-on in the A.G. Vanderbilt, TRAPPE SHOT returns to Belmont, where he has swept three starts; susceptible to awkward breaks, but favorably drawn toward outside for a stalking trip. BIG DRAMA had what was essentially a public workout in return at Calder four weeks ago, his first start since supersonic 120 Beyer in Mr. Prospector at Gulfstream last winter; defending BC Sprint champ is tough to leave out. EUROEARS has won two of three since given over to Bob Baffert, the lone defeat a runner-up finish in $2 million Dubai Golden Shaheen vs. Rocket Man, who is arguably among the world's top sprinters with a 16-4-0 slate from 20 starts. Race 8: Kelso Handicap

JERSEY TOWN is rounding back to top form, after chasing Vosburgh contender Force Freeze off a layoff in the
Teddy Drone, and moving forward several lengths in the Forego second time back; his “A” race puts him right there. JACKSON BEND turned in two best races of career at Saratoga, posting first two wins since juvenile campaign; has continued to train swiftly upstate. UNCLE MO projects to get better early position after breaking a step slow and being forced to play catch-up while wide on the turn in Kingʼs Bishop; must prove ability to run triple-digit Beyers back to back and must do it against older rivals. Race 9: Beldame

Havre de Grace has never run in a one-turn race, but drew ideally outside, and is a nose away from a perfect 5-for-5 campaign at age 4; Woodward winner must catch last yearʼs Beldame winner, Life At Ten, and brace for late challenge from Alabama winner ROYAL DELTA. The latter drew off despite losing focus briefly and lugging in through mid-stretch of Alabama; lightly raced and still eligible to improve. (2 selections)

Race 10: Jockey Club Gold Cup

STAY THIRSTY turned in breakthrough performance to win the Jim Dandy, and followed with exceptionally game effort to win Travers with a difficult trip. After second-place finishes in the Whitney and Woodward, FLAT OUT returns to Belmont, where he won the Suburban with a scintillating 113 Beyer in July. (2 selections)
