“Horses of Hope” calendar to benefit equine charity

Photographer Sarah K. Andrew and designer Gina Kessling of Hoofprints.com have collaborated for a second year to produce the “Horses and Hope: Faces of Rescue” calendar, sales of which will benefit the equine advocacy group One Horse At A Time. One Horse At A Time awards grants to horse rescues and needy individuals in the horse business. Last year’s calendar raised more than $40,000 for the Nicholasville, Ky.-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

This year’s “Horses and Hope” calendar features more than 100 photographs of horses at at the Camelot horse auction in New Jersey, and in their adoptive homes or horse rescue facilities in Connecticut, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The calendars cost $19.95 each and are available at http://www.hoofprints.com/ska.html. All proceeds benefit One Horse At A Time.
